It rarely, if ever feels like an afterthought at all. So if you haven't played it in this mode, or have played the game and weren't sold on it, try it with first person view.you'll find it changes things for the better. Even though it was my second play through, I completed it feeling way more satisfied and having enjoyed it way more the second time. It almost made it feel like a new game to be honest. I played the entire game in first person and never felt like I had to switch back at any point. I had no issues at all with cover or stealth or anything like that. I know the game was designed (just like the original) for third person, but I found first person works so much better. Saying things like sneaking, cover, stealth in general was clunky or more difficult.īut I have to say it made the game WAYYYYYY more enjoyable! I absolutely loved having the first person view. Something to bring it in line with RE7 etc. I've read some people say it's not all that great, as it was just a tacked on feature. And I just completed it on Nightmare about 30 minutes ago.

So anyway, I decided to have another play through last week, now that the first person mode was added. It had the same ingredients as the first, along with some nice extras, like the open world setting, and slick graphics. When EW2 came out, I bought it at release and completed it, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Not sure how many times I've come close to twisting my DS4 into pieces in my hands in pure rage). Having been a massive fan of the original, played through it many times (yep, I'm a sucker for punishment.on higher difficulty, that game is probably the most frustrating of any game I've ever played.
